When setting up a vdt machine, the vdt hosts file needs to be setup in “what”.
check out trunk from vdt’s svn (svn co file:///p/vdt/workspace/svn/tests/trunk)

-Make changes to hosts file (/nightly-tests.what/root/etc/hosts)
-check in hosts file (svn ci hosts)
Make sure to use #0 as the first line to indicate that there is no ticket associated with the change.
-from the top level directory do an update followed by a make install (svn up; make install)

Note: users can only do this if they are in the condor:vdt group.
