Supported Platforms

The NMI Build and Test Lab (BatLab) is comprised of over 70 machines of many different architecture/OS combinations. The Windows and Unix operating systems list includes:

  • Solaris SPARC 8, 9, & 10
  • HPUX 11
  • AIX 5.2 & 5.3
  • Windows XP & Vista
  • MacOS 10.4 (Tiger), 10.5 (Leopard)

The Linux platforms are a mix of x86, x86_64, and ia64 architectures. In some cases the same operating system is installed on all 3 architectures.

  • RedHat 3, 4, 5, 5.2
  • SuSE Linux 8, 9, 10, 10.2
  • Scientific Linux 4.4
  • Debian 4 & 5
  • FreeBSD 6
  • Fedora 5, 8, 9, 11
  • CentOS 4.2
  • Ubuntu 8
  • YellowDog Linux 5 (running on Playstation 3 ppc)
  • Fedora 9 (running on Playstation 3 ppc)
